About me

Hello, my name is Gladdie, and I am the owner of Speaking Gladly. I am passionate in working with children and adults, who are neurodivergent, to meet their communication goals/needs.

As someone who is neurodivergent and diagnosed much later in life, I understand the challenges that can really impact everyday life.

I am also passtionate in learning about different cultures and languages, specifically individuals of Asian or Spanish descent, to be able to increase their General American Accent.

Education/Trainings:

I earned my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology  in my home state, Texas.  I have extensive experience in a variety of settings, which include private clinics, outpatient rehabilitation, schools, and remotely.

I  have my Certificate in Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) since 2016. I received trainings and have areas of interest in the following: executive functioning, accent training, early language, and phonology disorders.

I am currently licensed in Washington State and Texas.

During my free time, I enjoy learning languages, dancing, playing my ukulele, hiking, and continuing to explore the PNW.
